This 50’s enamelled green cast iron pot is one of my favourites. I got it at the brocki ages ago and I love how it is a little pre-loved and worn.

  1. I may have the same pot, in a sunny yellow color. My mother made soup in it when I was growing up and I recently begged to have it for myself. Mine too is chipped and well worn–and much smaller than I remember from childhood, it seemed like a bottomless vat back then–but I love it in a quite unnatural way. It makes me happy.
I’ve just found your site and it is wonderful. I will be back often. That photo of Lola chopping vegetables is priceless.
